Land of Reason

Holy Moly. You would never think that a little town in the middle of the Bible Belt
would hold SO much opportunity. I never new it's the L.A. of the South, for the entertainment industry. Kind of like Austin is for Music, this place is for the TV and movie industry. Really cool, people that are more interested in the quality and not a lot else, flock to this area. Understandably, so. The people are AWESOME, everyone is welcoming and without an ulterior motive--no joke, people like this actually exist--and they're PLENTIFUL!!! Everyone from the cashier at the convenience store to the guy that's worth millions at the little g-zillion$$$ studio in the middle of BFE!!!

If you get a chance, go there....not much to do, but get there, fast!

True potential

True potential...everyone has it. What have you done with yours?

Going back to the original theme of this whole blog, it's to unleash your talent, whether its in music business, personal crap, whatever....it all has to do with a comfort level you own within yourself.

If we do anything for ourselves entirely, we are sure to fail eventually. However, if we're seeking out how to benefit the world or others from our existence, its only a matter of time for the worlds to collide and offer huge emotional and monetary benefits.

तलेंत इस एवेर्य्व्हेरे.

Sweet, I'm writing, what took me so long? The Hindi translation setting I put on. Funny...I just started on a tangent and it deleted itsself mysteriously.....interesting.

my 6 paragraphs of blabbing is gone....now what? some reading probably...

But, before I do, I've noticed 2 key ingredients in successful people: Discipline & Passion.
In the ULTRA successful though, there are 3, Discipline, Passion & Focus on their true talent...
what's cool about this is that the people I've seen succeed most are the one's that are doing what they love। It doesn't take too much to say "no" to something when the part of your life you're passionate about is staring you in the face and you're making a living from it.

Now's the tricky part, refining a talent.

Our wonderful talents (I'm still refining mine) are what define us as people....capturing in a bottle first, then letting others in on it, and some how supporting our lives is the coolest thing in the world.

Let your "day job" work for you....every other hour, minute or second there is to spend on something else that refines your true talent is getting you closer to who you really want to be every minute of the day.....

I'm getting close, you? Why do I write to you like this, I have no clue...probably because my life is not an open novel where I want everyone knowing my every waking moment or what ideas I have mulling around in my crazy little brain....

this whole blog thing is more about the discipline factor, to see if I can stick with something for more than 6 minutes.....and to help anyone else that's interested in reading random blogs.

hope it works out, but you just never know until you try.....forward thinking....wish me luck.

Holy Crap

people have some very interesting skeletons in the closet. Take a looksie at the accappella songs to the right. Peeps with family and a "real day job" actually are super talented.
so, what's up with people with "real jobs"? just for the dough...interestingly enough i really haven't found anyone ULTRA excited about their day job. Unless of course their working for a JV company--you know, the one with the vision, the dream the still undiscovered, completely uncomplicated, get-to-know-you as a person, type company. Anyone? Junior Varsity...who was a JV cheerleader? Ever completely content being a JV? Hell no--if so--you did one of two things...either dropped out and sold drugs OR you said forget this JV crap, skipped your jr. & sr. year, started an internet company and are banking a few mil right about now and finally going after your true talent. What took you so long?

business talent

I work with these people all day. The hidden deal makers, people that impact a company. It's really interesting when a company loses sight of the value a person makes to them....it's all people, a combination of talent working together to make some dough. So why does it have to be so complicated?

Who says you have to have a set policy? Innovative thinkers that constantly challenge the "policies & procedures" get my vote.Times have changed....."that's just the way it is"...if you hear that line--RUN for your LIFE...but call me first--i'll find you something.
