Turn the page

A life today. It is everything. Networks of family (was about to put friends first), but family, friends and all the rest have the ability to capture a life today. How talents are unleashed is the test. "Embrace your weirdness", as my little sister says.

I always thought that just living was good enough, doing my very personal best and living each day, then waking up to the next. BOR-ing....hear the sound...

That's not living, that's being. What good does it do to just be?....BOR-ing, (sigh). What defines and separates from the person sitting next to me isn't what I do better than them, it's how figuring out how to help them.

Today is the promise and the threat. It's a challenge to see what this minute brings, and do what needs to be done. Ever heard that luck is when preparation meets opportunity? Opportunity is in the eye of the beholder. My opportunity to see and capture today is different. Every challenge and hardship we face is a learning Opportunity. If that opportunity isn't captured, it's lost forever.

Time kills deals, you've heard that before, right? Time wasted by not capturing opportunity (yes I've used it as a noun),lessens the impact. THEN it diminishes into the deep dark hole of regret. Regrets are the ultimate self destruction. The Shoulda Coulda Woulda----describes the above 16 babbling sentences in a nut-shell. Shoulda done this and I shoulda done that....go ahead sing the country tune--now would be a good time to stay but it's a little too late....
The greatest thing about all of this whole thing is that it's never too late....never too late to give in, never too late to forget the past, never too late to believe in someone you thought was hopeless and never too late to live like it's the last day of your life....yet another country tune to ponder.

True potential

True potential...everyone has it. What have you done with yours?

Going back to the original theme of this whole blog, it's to unleash your talent, whether its in music business, personal crap, whatever....it all has to do with a comfort level you own within yourself.

If we do anything for ourselves entirely, we are sure to fail eventually. However, if we're seeking out how to benefit the world or others from our existence, its only a matter of time for the worlds to collide and offer huge emotional and monetary benefits.

Gen Y SuperTalent

For those of us on a quest for information, the internet is an overwhelming tool, almost too easy to use for all the freebie info we get from it.....so most peeps perceive.  It's a business, too, though.  So, let's get to it, it's late and I really want to write this, but this Blue October song is singing me a lullaby.   There are a zillion people out there that haven't caught on to this whole internet thing.  When they do, it will take em a few years to realize it's a business working seamlessly by people on the "inside"....nearly as mysterious as a headhunter.  but not quite. Who could resist that plug in?  Anyhoo.  Web-preneur's are a totally new thing to the traditional business guy...no reporting structure, what?  No set salary, huh? Who does this guy think he is?  Brilliant, that's what.  Wow, we have figured out THE COOLEST occupation on earth.  By way of the internet, we're able to establish, create and --better yet, EXECUTE our ideas--without anyone's permission, o.k., go-ahead, whatever your term, you know what I'm talking about.  Now, there are experts in our field of service, and we should ALWAYS seek out advice, people like Cameron Johnson--now there's a cool find--betcha his consulting/advice site will be membership based next year, with a fee...:)--gotta love you, Cameron.

Danny Cahill did it with his site, from 10/month to 90.....I paid it, and I love it....AND he's a fantastic speaker, I can learn a lot from him.

So, dare we connect all the work from home, or Spain on the beach worker net-preneurs?  Let's face it, it's nice to meet with other like-minded people, our connections further us as people, but meeting in person does have it's advantages--you may even get a date, set up a loved one from the group and extend the fam...the opps are endless..... But to unveil the mystery? Pierce the completely "un-biased,  no looks, just TALENT" perception we have of web-preneur .

AND, For us to meet in person? YIKES!! Sweet...interesting...facebook, myspace, linkedin----you should start now to catch up.... .

तलेंत इस एवेर्य्व्हेरे.

Sweet, I'm writing, what took me so long? The Hindi translation setting I put on. Funny...I just started on a tangent and it deleted itsself mysteriously.....interesting.

my 6 paragraphs of blabbing is gone....now what? some reading probably...

But, before I do, I've noticed 2 key ingredients in successful people: Discipline & Passion.
In the ULTRA successful though, there are 3, Discipline, Passion & Focus on their true talent...
what's cool about this is that the people I've seen succeed most are the one's that are doing what they love। It doesn't take too much to say "no" to something when the part of your life you're passionate about is staring you in the face and you're making a living from it.

Now's the tricky part, refining a talent.

Our wonderful talents (I'm still refining mine) are what define us as people....capturing in a bottle first, then letting others in on it, and some how supporting our lives is the coolest thing in the world.

Let your "day job" work for you....every other hour, minute or second there is to spend on something else that refines your true talent is getting you closer to who you really want to be every minute of the day.....

I'm getting close, you? Why do I write to you like this, I have no clue...probably because my life is not an open novel where I want everyone knowing my every waking moment or what ideas I have mulling around in my crazy little brain....

this whole blog thing is more about the discipline factor, to see if I can stick with something for more than 6 minutes.....and to help anyone else that's interested in reading random blogs.

hope it works out, but you just never know until you try.....forward thinking....wish me luck.
